About: Since its inception in 1998, the National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) has served as a platform that recognises phenomenal contributions and achievements of the Sri Lankan ICT sector.
Microimage previously took part in the inaugural 1998 NBQSA awards and won a Merit award. Thereon, the company graced the awards in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 and won multiple awards for notable products, such as mStudio – a radio automation software, a localised mobile messaging and browser platform for Sinhala, Tamil, and South Asian languages, vStation – a TV & video automation software, DEWN – a disaster early warning solution and Microimage HCM8 – an enterprise Human Capital Management software.
The NBQSA platform paved an international path for Microimage which resulted in global recognition from awarding bodies and renowned companies such as GSM Association, and Microsoft.
This year, Microimage goes back to the awards as a Gold Sponsor to recognise the future IT leaders and companies that are on a path to global recognition.
